Winner of numerous awards including the prestigious Brick Development Association House of the Year, "Ballihoo" is an innovative new family home and boathouse on the river Thames that make heads turn by its assertive and dramatic appearance.

A blend of Bovingdon berry light multi facing bricks was chosen as the main brick, with blue engineers for the first few courses, a formula altogether sympathetic to the local Berkshire brickwork tradition but in a modern style possessing rhythm and presence.

The massive piers were built to a very tight 3mm tolerance and the quality of the brickwork is testament to the bricklayers skill in harmonising the crisp design with the aesthetic appeal of the Bovingdon facing bricks.
