Gerrards Cross, situated immediately outside Greater London in South Buckinghamshire, a desirable place to live due to its high quality residential property set in a spacious, mainly Green belt area; at the heart of the village is the Common, 32 hectares of natural woodland.

Around the seventeenth century it was previously known as ‘Jarratts Cross’, located on a crossroads where the old road from Chalfont St Peter to Fulmer met the Oxford Road. It is also home to Bulstrode Camp, an Iron Age hillfort, the largest in Buckinghamshire.

In our opinion this is a beautifully proportioned home set in a superb location in Gerrards Cross. Our Bovingdon Berry multi stock brick was selected for this project and our Plinth Stretchers were incorporated in a low plinth detail around the building, the front elevation is crowned with a simply styled yet effective large span semicircular brick arch.

This home incorporates a multitude of building materials including brick, render, clay roof tiles, oak framing to the rear and timber windows and doors and its changes in roof line with single and two story sections and dormer windows could easily have produced an overly fussy design, but the balance of design and materials is just right producing a substantial and interesting home.
