The art of brick-matching
If you are renovating your home or extending it, the effect of a perfect brick-match will enhance the final look of your project and make it so much more enjoyable and valuable. Accuracy of colour, size, texture and quality are vital, with service to match. We offer that combination.
If you have an older property it will almost certainly have been built using handmade bricks of an Imperial size. Within our colour range we should be able to match most properties, and can adjust our standard colours to suit your design by hand or by pack selection. We manufacture handmades in a range of Imperial sizes and also have the capacity to produce non-standard sizes.
The accurate match you seek can be achieved in any of the following ways:
- we can arrange for one of our representative to come to view your property. Photos will be taken as a record for production and samples will be sent to you with 24-48 hours for you to approve.
- or we can a achieve a match from photos you send to us. We recommend that you send us 3 or 4 photos. At least one should be the full elevation of the building, so we can judge the overall colour range. Also 2 close-up photos, of approximately a square metre, to show texture and detail. Please show any different areas of light or dark brickwork. You can upload the digital photos here.
- or you can visit us at the works to make your choice and see the bricks being made. That gives us the chance to welcome you and discuss your project in detail after which we will send you samples.
If one of our standard brick ranges does not match accurately we can adjust the selection by hand sorting and pack selection.
